Daybreak Recording was founded in 2005 with a simple mission: empower independent artists. What began as a small production outfit in the Kansas City metro has grown into a full 360° artist-services company serving creators across the Midwest and beyond.
For nearly two decades, we've supported artists through every stage of their careers — from first demos to national tours. We've watched the industry shift, the platforms change, and the gatekeepers multiply. Our answer has always been the same: give artists better tools and get out of their way.
Today, from our new home in Lawrence, KS, we're doing that better than ever.

Over 20 years building artist careers in the Midwest. Founded Daybreak in 2005 with a single mission: give independent artists the tools to compete on their own terms.
Production & Engineering
Head of Studio Operations
Award-winning engineer with credits across major and independent releases. Oversees all studio sessions, mixing, and mastering at the LFK facility.
Sound Stage & Livestream
Director of Live & Streaming
Built the LFK streaming infrastructure from the ground up. Specializes in live production, multi-camera direction, and AWS-powered global broadcast.
Touring & Distribution
Head of Artist Services
Former touring manager with 15 years on the road. Leads routing, advancing, and logistics for Daybreak artists across the country.
